My reading space. Tea, an assortment of books, hi-fi remote control, a notebook: bliss.

I am a thirty-something Mum of two, wife of one, owner of thousands of books. I have worked as a Waterstones bookseller since 2017, finally finding myself a square peg in a square hole.

We moved to London in 2016, having lived in the North East of England for half my life after falling in love with the city of Durham and marrying a vicar-type. I am a Master of Theology, slave of domesticity. I would almost always ‘rather be reading’ but never seem to find enough time.  In 2012 I started a reading challenge: to read a different theme/genre/author each month and blog about the process. Thus, BookwormMum arrived. And the challenge continues…

I’ll try anything but have recently focused on children and YA titles as I’m usually found in the children’s department of Waterstones Finchley Road O2 Centre, allegedly working.
